Attention Coin Lovers…

Scarsdale Coin and the US Mint would like to invite you to the Historic Launch on November 17th, 2015 of the Saratogo Quarter.  Please Join Us… Details below!

The 30thcoin in our America the Beautiful Quarters® Program is the fifth and last quarter to be released this year.  For more information about this popular program, click here.  The reverse design of this new coin depicts a close-up of the moment General John Burgoyne surrendered his sword to General Horatio Gates, a turning point many believe marked the ‘beginning of the end of the American Revolutionary War.’  The inscriptions “BRITISH SURRENDER 1777,” “SARATOGA,” “NEW YORK,” “2015” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” encircle the design.

The launch ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, at Schuylerville High School (14 Spring St, Schuylerville, NY).  This event is free and open to the public.  All children who attend the event will receive a brand new Saratoga quarter from the United States Mint.  There will be a coin exchange immediately following the ceremony where coins can be obtained for face value (1-roll minimum / 10-roll maximum, cash only).

The United States Mint will also host a coin forum the evening before the event at the Saratoga Town Hall on Monday, November 16 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.  This is a unique opportunity to have access to a U.S. Mint representative who will give you an inside look at the Mint and answer any questions you may have about our programs or products.
