One of the great U.S. rarities on display at the recent ANA National Money Show in Colorado Springs, Colorado could be yours. The 1933 Eagle and the rest of the Bass Collection will be sold by the Bass Foundation to raise money for charitable work. This is from an ANA news release today: The American Numismatic Association (ANA) and the Harry W. Bass, Jr. Foundation announced today that the Harry W. Bass, Jr. collection of U.S. gold coins and patterns on display at the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum in Colorado Springs, Colo., will be returned to the Foundation and sold at auction. The Money Museum has been this collection’s temporary home since October 2000.
