PCGS MS64BN Upright 55 GOLD CAC

A word to begin….Rarely does a collector have the opportunity to add a cornerstone to their collection such as this.  For any lover of coins this is the one that will from the moment added to your collection will remain the focal point.  It is a pleasure caring for this in our family and we look forward to passing this lovely coin to the next lucky individual!  Jon

Lustrous light bluish steel brown with 15% faded underlying mint red remaining.  The surfaces are satiny and nearly flawless.  There are two microsopic specks of darking toning under star 10 and a tiny planchet flake on the bottom of star 13, plus a small nick in the dentils under 55.  MDS, state b.  The dash at the left base of the 1 is gone and the fields are covered with fine flowlines.  Excellent eye appeal.  Finest known by a good margin
