Similar to the regular issue, but the Roman numerals on the reverse are smooth instead of ribbed. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. The date digits appear to be entered individually, at a time when gang punches were generally used. This nicely struck and flashy Gem shows only a hint of golden toning. No imperfections to speak of and appears to be undergraded!
